Leander Build Limited undertook this challenging project – RC sub and superstructure works. The building is a two storey basement, with ground floor and then 5 upper floors for the new Nobu hotel in Shoreditch.
Substructure is a Contiguous piled box, with 1 metre deep RC raft. The bulk dig required 16000 m3 to be removed and 44 tonnes of temporary propping steel work to be installed at capping beam level as the dig progressed.
The superstructure is insitu RC B1 and ground floor slabs. The upper 5 floors are insitu PT RC slabs.
