Leander Build was asked to return for the challenging cut and carve project for Times House.
The scope of works consisted of a building six storeys in height, consisting of three cores, whilst incorporating twin wall, reinforced concrete works, a new steel frame from fifth floor to roof and an underground car park, all within a confined site and residential area.
A scheme, heavily reliant on temporary works, was required to ensure that stability of existing structures was maintained whilst structural alterations was being carried out
Working with Eckersley O’Callaghan’s structural engineers, all steels were fabricated off site to CE standards.
Leander coordinated various sub-contractors to remove sections of the building that are no longer required. This was achieved by using the latest techniques in the industry.
